We Bout Dat is a track that has a dual interpretation. It speaks to the black couple who, in a world that has set expectations when it comes to black loves; have found themselves to be quirky enough to find meaning in their union.

It also speaks to the black child, who faces a deep seated fear of oppression because they've experienced it even before they could understand it.

It is a hip hop translation of what it means to "Be ready for anything!"
